Going Back
We arrived at border between Malawi and Tanzania and it was fairly congested. There were a bunch of vehicles and people as usual. The same traffic, maybe even greater, this time.
Our caravan consisted of 2 vehicles. A black van and a big white bus. The black van had all of our professors except for one. The white bus had all the students plus one professor. Clement was the one driving that white bus.
He suggested that we just walk to the border office to give our visas. It was a pretty long process. We stayed there for at most an hour where we had to give our yellow cards, passport, visa applications—the usual.
It also looked like our drivers, Clement and Ryan were doing their visas too in order to travel into Tanzania. They must've done this a thousand times considering their association with the TeamLift NGO.
We all slept on our way to a new hotel that I've never stayed at before, but it sounded like the returning students stayed at this particular hotel before—Ifisi Hotel.
Lost Track 5/19/2024
I was writing this entry, but I lost track of what happened. I'm just gonna add it to my entry anyway. Been traveling for 3 days. Very little sleep. I'm floored.
